We had to play catch up at the end of the last transfer window and we will have to do the same in Jan. We will pay double and be left with yet more players who ultimately aren't good enough but who we will struggle to get rid of. Its all because Ton Fernandez couldn't unfortunately complete the takeover a month earlier - you are right we will struggle to pick up more than journeymen/ desperados and maybe a couple of good loans - but we have no choice, and would still rather be in that position than Blackburn, Wigan, Norwich and Swansea who will prob have to settle largely with what they have.

think norwch wll be ok , wgan and blackburn look dodge for definate and swansea arent leakng goals at home , we need another team to do worse then us i think

just worred anyone who joins in jan will not allow relegation clauses etc as they will want guarantees

i hope your right my only worry we could become permanent residents of the bottem 3 by jan, with our run in kinda need to be safe around march, im normally quite optomistic but feel we are serious trouble

Just loan isn't it? Think we need another quality player in midfield. Just mentioned Jenas as the kind of player we should be thinking about. as the barton-faurlin-derry combo isn't working and think Derry is the obvious one to make way.
