What Would Be You Team Selection V Blackburn Rovers?

Quite a dillemma because I feel its not really working with one up front, though I feel Taarabt will come good at some point being the player behind the front man

For me Campbell cannot play up front on his own and Taarabt on the wing is wasted.

So what would be your starting 11 v Blackburn?

IMO, there are numerous options that could all work, but 1 of the options I would quite like to see is a 4-4-1-1 of:

Young Ferdinand Gabbidon (Hall if not fit ) Traore
SWP Faurlin Barton Smith
Adel
DJ

Think Adel sitting in that hole behind DJ could work really well.

bothroyd needs to be dropped. HH and DJ have both looked good when coming on. mackie is abit too soon & id play buzsaky but just cant fit him in because i feel we need 2 uptop.

Against a team with such poor away form I think this team is bang on Gerry

I really cant see Taarabt playing after his hissy fit at Fulham, where he left at half time after being subbed and Perone will pay if Hall and Gabidon cant.

No way is Warno gonna leave out Adel...He is in a buoyant mood after scoring and helping Morocco qualify for the ANC. Adel needs to and I think he will carry that over against Rovers.

After Taarabts class free kick last week for his country, I think Neil will let him loose on a poor Blackburn team. Rest the Lord for a game too as he has been one of our best and played every game.

what i would do but would swop derry with faurlin, we need to win and we need to score otherwise we will be bottem 3 byy middle of nov as we aint getting a point in next 3 games after this

Gerry's team is good apart from leaving out Faurlin, our player of the season so far for me and the only one of 11 players who turned up against Fulham. As another said time for Derry to recharge his batteries - we need to take the game to Blackburn, and with our defence not being the strongest part of our team probably best to get them rather than us on the back foot. Would also like to see SWP played as a genuine winger as don't think he works in a floating role.
