Pay as you play doesn't mean that he doesn't get paid at all when he's injured, he still gets a decent basic wage but if he wants to earn serious money he does so through appearances. We're still paying him at the moment.Comment

I'd take a punt at around the £1k a week mark basic.
When playing probably nearer £10k per appearance then add your bonus's, per point, win etc & it will come to a pretty penny.
But whilst laid up it'll be next to nothing.
That's the whole point of signing an injury prone player on a PAYP deal.Comment
