    Free kick takers

They all had a go at it from decent positions on Sunday (DJ included) and weren't much cop tbh. Who do you have most faith in to take the dead balls on a regular basis?

Buzsaky might well arguably be the best in the squad currently but he won't often be on the pitch enough to count as the regular taker.

Vaagan Moen possibly the best at the club, shame he's not good for anything else.

It was quite ugly on Sunday but I think it was just a bad day and not something to get too worried about. We have seen these guys do a lot better in seasons past so no reason to think they suddenly got worse.

As with most things Taarabt probably has the most potential with FKs, would like to see him put some hours in training at practicing because it could net us a few extra goals a year.

And the moral of the story is, don't get fouled, just be good enough to beat the player, shoot and hopefully score.

Easier said than done when you are playing a bunch of fouling thugs like Villa :rage:

Taarabt for me. No better or worse than the others but with his unpredictability I'd rather he had a pop.

They are all a bit sh!t at dead balls though at the moment.

Taraabt for on goal, for getting a ball into the box as a cross then barton. If one of them goes to **** then let Faurlin have a dig at it

Taarabt is beter than them all, has the technique and the power for the shot, after some hard practice sessions every day after training he will be great in some weeks.

I'd actually like to see Fitz take a 10yd run-up and just smash one; wouldn't be any worse than any of the pitiful efforts from Sunday.

I remember Faurlin scoring direct from a free kick once. I think it might have been his first goal for the club. Can't remember any others since then.

                        And there lies the problem.

It seems they all had a go v Villa and we didn't get 1 on target some didn't even get over the wall, could we adopt a system like american football so we can roll out Buzz to take all our free kicks for us, he's about the only one who seem to score from them

Unless we have a perfect dead ball specialist such as Vill had on Sunday with Barran (name i think) we should just try to be as inventive as possible. Why not pass it across the floor, get it out wide and try and cross the ball for a chance instaed - our goal on Sunday came from a cross & a bit of pressure on their defence.

There is no rule that says we have to shoot from the edge of the box & to be fair they couldn't have been any worse than whatcwas on show Sunday.
