so by reckoning, by the new year we will have added 14 points to the 8 we already have, giving us 22 points. the games ive put the 0 next to i really cant see us getting anything from, anything more than a loss would be a fantastic result.
this will probably prompt sir neil to buy more quality in january. imagine what he could have done with a whole preseason to buy...

We have been fairly lucky with our start, Villa being the toughest test so far imo. We have propper games coming up soon and i think 40 points by the end of January is a tad optimistic.

I reckon we could possibly sneak a point at home to chelsea. And possibly at anfield. But a point against either of those would be an absolutely unbelievable result, which is why I put 0. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with a point, even if we play the way we did the last 3 games.
