Thought Barton and faurlin poor today

As above in particular thought Barton went missing today when we needed him most second half , his distribution awful and felt just needed his leadership but wasn't there
Faurlin needs to go back to what he's been doing very sloppy today and gave ball away a lot
Adel fantastic today all round play
Also special mention to hall and Ferdinand again , hall didn't lose a challenge very impressive today

Agree about Hall and Ferdinand. Young and Traore were also good. Not sure Faurlin and barton were poor. They did some good stuff and then went missing in parts.

Thought Faurlin was quite good, Barton was quite poor today though but SWP was easily our worst player, he just didn't get into the game at all.

thought as much as we played good stuff - final balls, passes, shots just weren't there. Think that went for everyone on the pitch. At the ground I was pretty sure we were amazing - but on reflection don't really think we tested the keeper enough.

Sky plused it so gonna watch once the mrs And kids finish with x factor with , could be wrong re Barton and faurlin but what I thought when there today, re swp thought didn't get any service ( or worrying about cappello)

I thought they were both decent. Neither had their shooting bits on, which may have reflected on your overall thought, but Barton especially made a few last ditch tackles/clearances and played some good football. One point, he lost his footing and battled to win the ball back. Ali had a couple of misplaced passes, and a couple of terrible strikes, but I don't think he played too poorly.

I actually agree with all of this.

Our last 2 games were superb due to the midfield running things but today that was non existent. Also agree Adel was superb.

Didn't play badly by any means just never really clicked into gear & a point is good although I feel a bit sh!tty as I thought we were the better team.

Let's put it right against Foolham.

Barton was OK, Faurlin's passing was good but he spent too much time on the ball and kept losing it; he looked under pressure IMO. Adel was fantastic!!

Thought Barton did ok, particularly after his near assault by Warnock. Faurlin's worst game since Bolton, seemed off the pace a little but then again wont come up against quite as cynical and dour side as Mcleish's again, i hope !

Faurlin, IMO, was very good today. He sprayed some incredible passes around and it was a shame SWP wasnt on song today or he would have make more of 1 or 2 of those, especially in the 1st half.

whole midfield poor 2nd half J.B, Ali,Adel S.D. lacked the urgency as Villa upped thier game But other than J.B thought the rest had a good 1st half
