Sums it up for me. We've all done things I'm our past that we'd rather not have done, and Joey's are up there without doubt but the regard he is held in at Newcastle speaks volumes for how he has changed. He is currently clean as far as civil and footballing authorities are concerned; he has to live with his past but he should be allowed to get on with his life as he has paid for his mistakes.

the trouble is mate the media are after him and they wont be happy until he is hounded out of football! if the press dont like you then you are focked! thats not say that j.b didnt bring alot of this on himself! he has now got to be really careful because alot of people are waiting for him to fall!

I think Barton is undoubtedly the most hated player in the Premiership, and to be fair I can see why. He goes out of his way to wind up opposition fans and players, much more so than any other player in the Prem at the moment. I honestly think he gets a kick out of it, and as long as he keeps performing I have no problem with it.

Barton is the the sort of player that you can only love if he plays for your club. You can put him in the same in the same category as Robbie Savage, who we all love to hate but I think most of us will admit, we would have loved to have him at QPR in his prime.

No doubt about it he's walking a tightrope but he's had that for all the time he was at Newcastle and players and fans got behind him. He seems to have that same connection here so far so I'm reasonably confident he'll work out for us. He could do without the spotlight though.

If you mean Balotelli; i cant help but like the fella ! He cracks me up, getting a leave of absence from City and missing POTY awards and the open top bus parade and being caught in Italy driving past a convention for Serie A club chairman and throwing water balloons at them

If he was a player at my clbu id be seriously annoyed at his lack of respect, but as its at another club I find him quality!
