IMO if we don't get a result against Villa we'll have beaten ourselves somewhere along the line rather than them doing anything of note.

Derry, Faurlin and Barton should totally overpower them as they have no one in the engine room capable of putting in a tackle. Villa's strength ought to be in wingers feeding Bent but McLeish plays too narrow and too defensive to take advantage, and in any case N'Zogbia has been a disappointment by all accounts.

They will mainly be relying on one of their promising but flaky kids (Albrighton, Bannan, Delph, Gardner if he plays) on coming up with the goods.

    Early goal and we're laughing.

Going to be a difficult game. Our defence has to deal with Bent and Agbonlahor. Don't get carried away by one win. Let's forget the Wolves game. It's a long and difficult season. I am sure NW will try his best to get the best out of the players against Villa. I have noticed many newly promoted clubs in the last couple of years start well but then go down so we need to focus: Hull, Burnley, Blackpool.

Bent's only as good as the ammunition he gets given to be fair. Agbonlahor's pace could trouble us though, particularly if they target the areas Traore leaves behind.

            --------------Given-------

            Hutton--Collins--Dunne--Cuellar

That back 4 has been around the block a few times and shouldn't really fear Bothroyd, SWP & Taarabt.

Petrov & Jenas will have a good battle with Faurlin & Derry.

N'Zogbia & Albrighton will ask questions of Young & Traore and Agbonlahor will give Hall & Ferdinand plenty to do.

Draw would be a great result, think it'll finish in their favour albeit only by a goal

All eyes on N'Zogbia. Top class player. If he plays wide right again, Young will have to be at his almighty best.

I do, however fancy us for a win. We've played some of the best passing football I've seen in my life. I can't stop smiling over it. It's actually our team. You've got to love that.

You can do a similar line up with the toons and the wolves and we still hammered them

Agreed, hes a match winner when on song. But have to say that if he is playing wide right,Young will really really have his work cut out to mark him.... what with being the opposite side of the pitch nd all

I would be delighted with a draw. Villa are unbeaten and have some class players. It'll be a very tough game.

Tbf though I think (being my pesimistic self ) 1 potential area we COULD get caught out in is the space Traore leave behind when he attacks being exploited by Insomnia (good old Joe Kinnear!).

Although obviously NW will be well aware of this and will make sure this doesnt happen, i just like to type as though I know what Im on about when I dont really :drunk:

I do my own form tables based on goal attempts, and according to my stats we should win by 2 or 3 clear goals (unless they come with a plan to use a flat back 7). My prediction is 4-1.
