I wouldn't be surprised, as that sort of verbal winding up is fairly common.
But more fool Henry for letting it get to him -- if it was part of Joey's game-plan it worked like a treat.

i still can't believe those 2 "challenges" by Henry on Barton last season(v Newcastle)...they must be two of the most obvious attempts not to play the ball i have ever seen..did he actually get booked?one was akin to Shumacher's assualt on poor Patrick Battison in Spain '82
