Also there was no reaction to this at all on reports site, I think it just shows the level of maturity on this site, as we are used to ripping shreds out of each other and we need to change that attitude. I think being on report is recommended to anyone on this site as there is respect for fellow fans on it.
I just asked about my ticket purchase which they said was fine. Didnt ask bout m'ship as it looks like it will prob be refunded as it gone off the screen.
It was there on screen the option of a 'complimentary membership' nothing underhand was done to swindle the club. If it was an error and i get my £3.50 back then fine.
I think what got peoples back up is the fact you thought we was going to get something for free for which you paid £40 for,all this how could you do it to QPR bowlocks hahaha. The club throws money away hand over fist and suddenly we are the villans for taking up an option that was there for all to see.
Rang the box office no probs with the £78.50 worth of tickets i bought through the members presale yesterday.

Thanks Nodge and a little common sense used over the matter. I actually thought they might put a cap on the figures allowed and it did say complementary, so as u say if you don't try u don't get. Think this has been blown out of proportion. Most fans that tried it would only of ended up spending money on QPR so ripping the club off is a bit strong.
Although, and I apologise if my lack of research makes me incorrect on this, but the very idea that any fan should have to stump up approx. £40 in order to be in with a chance of buying a ticket, doesn't sit at all well with me. Irrespective of whose idea it was.
There's nothing wrong with the logic of a paid membership. It gives those for who an ST is not suitable, the chance to buy reduced tickets at an earlier time before they go on general sale to the public.
However there is an issue with the price of a membership, as you would need to make at least 8 seperate purchases before you save any money on it.
If there's one good thing that came out of flavio's tenure, it's the principle that ST holders should not have the extra privilege of buying an extra home ticket before anyone else. They already have their seat.
And if you want an extra home ticket then you buy a membership and go into the mix with everybody else. That is fair.
In hindsight i can see why a few would get annoyed and not be too happy that some of us nearly had free membership, but surely you would want your fellow fans at the game, i know i would. Its not like we would have then been getting tickets free so plenty of money would have still been going to the club.
Some of you were going on like it was our intention to steal from the club, in reality we were looking to renew or apply for new memberships with an option that was clearly available on the website.
Ive never understood why we as fans are so quick to get at eachothers throats over anything, its been happening for years down at rangers and really needs to change.
Clearly a mistake has been made. Whilst some will no doubt have seen it as an opportunity to get one over on the club and save a few bob, others will genuinely have misjudged the situation. I'm sure once the powers that be know what has happened and why, a satisfactory outcome will be achieved.
