I get the feeling something will be done with Westfield, location is perfect to take advantage if transport links, and if you are looking at hotels, casinos etc, it would make sense.
    Kept the faith!

Agree, can even see a stand being named 'The Westfield Stand'
      Queens Park Rangers
      NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

TF said earlier that he cannot expand or increase ground capacity at LR so my understanding he will build a brand new stadium somewhere else.

we looked at the Scrubs some years ago and were told it was a no go due its proximity to the hospital(something about access for emergency vehicles)
i think the plot of land the club are looking at could be directly opposite BBC TV centre, right next to the Hammermith and City line viaduct)There is a set of BBC offices(Centre House)and some wharehouses(one used to be home to a go cart track..Daytona i think it was called. Marks and Spencer also had a wharehouse there)
the othe rplot of land is just the over side of the train tracks..right next to Westfield..this is occupied by wharehouses too. Both have room for a staduim. The only other plot is the Unigate Dairy, but apparently thats been sold

Following Chris underwood on twitter, suggested that the area by Westfield on North Aerial way had planning permission for 8 storey flats to be built. Not sure if this was or is the area people are talking about. But may be an issue. However, many of LBH&F's planning permission pages have been removed including the one for flats where cookes pie and mash shop is. Therefore not too sure how set in stone the plans are.

Hopefully they are not true as would be an ideal area for us to build on, accessible & still part of the bush.

              DONT

dont forget we did get that offer from sunbury on thames council about ten years ago, where by they would facilitate us in a 35 thousand ground which is to the left of the first junction of the m3 that has a station that could fill up the stadium, and we would be able to make a sizable profit on our ground, its whether or not the fans would like to move away from loftus road,in order to get a bigger stadium, ill have to ask jethro if he would consider the move
