Why are we so backward when supporting QPR?

There's only one way to get at the other team, and that's to jeer and whistle them everytime they get the ball. Anyone watching the manu game last night will remember hearing that. We take it for granted that foreign supporters do it.

All the spanish, italian and turkish fans get right behind their teams. Why can't we be the first to do it over here? I bet all I'm going to hear in reply, is this and that excuse. You all watch european games, you've all heard the noise, it's off-putting. Are we frightened to do it because it's not english? Singing songs about chelsea, and our players, is not going to put the other team off.

Everytime the subject comes up, people run away from fronting up to it. Are you for it or against it? And if you're for it, are you going to do it?

Yes, I remember that, but it seems to have been a one off, that's why I didn't bother mentioning it. Let's be the first to do it all the time. It would compensate for our smaller crowd, but being right next to the pitch must make a big difference.

Yes if SAR is considered posh. But there's noise and there's hostile noise. I don't see how chelsea songs are going to worry whoever we're playing. We don't do hostile noise at all. Why can't we give it a try?

agree greengrass,but hostile means getting lary.weve got some supporters that I'm sure have come from the emirates.love a bit of lary myself speaking as a mother.the livelier loftus rd the better

I quite agree we need a livelier LR. But 1000's of people whistling is very intimidating and simple to do.

Quite often when we have a go at the opposing team or its players it backfires Andy cole being a fairly recent example

Personally I would rather be positive and get behind my team rather then throw vitriol at the opposition unless they have done something specific to deserve it but each to their own

Maybe people are embarrassed to admit they can't whistle. but then TF might get hold of a european match soundtrack and play that over the sound system. I wonder if that would be allowed?
