    how important are wingers

two possible line ups - a classic old brit 442 or the newfangled 4231 the majority of elite teams use - which do you like the look of more?

    A:
    Code:
       rowlands faurlin
    balanta buzsaky vine
         blackstock
    B:
    Code:
    routledge buzsaky rowlands cook
              blackstock vine

would have to go with B as i think Balanta is too lightweight.

Quaz spot on mate i'll go along with that.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

what do you see as balanta's best position quaz (perhaps not right now but in future - or do you think he won't ever make the grade?) challenging vine as support striker?

i think he needs a full year in League 1 on loan......think he will become a vine type player with the right leadership.

i just wonder if buz does enough in an all-round sense for us not to get overrun in a 442. maybe drop cook and --

            Code:
            routledge rowlands faurlin vine
                                    buzsaky
                                  blackstock

blackstock wouldn't make my starting 11.
Plus I think we will have a new man upfront with buzz just behind him.

i dont know if balanta is too lightweight anymore. He looks stronger on the ball, and uses it very well. He links up well with other players and can make things happen, Under rated player!

Think balanta could make the step up imo, but needs to be given a bit of time, so i'll go for A
