Credit to Adel. He played for the team last night and not himself. Quick passes, released the ball early and some of his link up play with SWP and Barton was great to watch. Best part for me though was he still beat his man but then played a pass. The old Adel would try and beat them 2 or 3 more times and lose it.

he was amazing first half. just feel he is still not fit enough to do that first half pace for 80/90mins.

        Lovejoy: "No?!"

          Perfect summary.

If he continues to play like that, he will come of age and become a very highly regarded Premiership playmaker. He has so so much potential, as long as he knows when to pass and when to play.

Best I've seen him play for a long time. Usually he is magical for about 5-10 mins over the full 90, but last night he was consistantly a good team link with flashes of brilliance and a few tricks. Was only a goal or an assist away from being MOM probably, but there were 5 or 6 others that also played equally well.
