Got to agree. Great night all round. I know we didn't get the three points, but in a way I'm more happy with our performance and getting a point, than if we had scraped three points, playing poorly. It looks promising for the future.
Really looking forward to Wolves now.

      Well said.

It's such a great feeling knowing we have that in us and we will destroy some sides in this division. Either way, there are definitely many sides worse than us. Just hope we don't get key injuries.

Gary Neville was on MNF on sky and he was raving about some of our play. Said something along the lines of "QPR played really well tonight and some of their play at times was outstanding..."

How good to hear such comments from such a top player who obviously has high standards.

We looked top class in most respects, which is incredible considering we had four new signings in the starting line-up. Tougher challenges lay ahead and we will need to improve, but I feel very positive after that performance!

Make that 5 debutants mate (Young, Ferdinand, Traore, SWP, Barton)... all the more impressive as a result. Imagine how good they'll be when they gel.

Oops, somehow forgot Ferdinand in my mental tally!

No doubt about it. I was literally laughing out loud with joy at times in the first half.

Glad to say my muckers and me were drooling over some of our play, Prob the best I've seen since the days of Ferdinand Impey Wilson Sinton Bardsley Barker Holloway team. Got a way to go to catch the boys of 76 though but am excited we may get near that level

Oddly enough, i agree with what you have said. After 25 minutes i thought...if this is what we have to look forward to for rest of the season..bring it on.

Naturally gutted we didn't get the win but what a refreshing performance.Thought it dropped towards the end, but i suppose the likes of SWP were not fully match fit as the guy hasn't started a premiership game this year.

Don't want to get carried away, but feel a lot more positive now, than when i watched the first game at LR V Bolton.
