Will it still be Adel (which at his strike rate for free kicks, i'd rather he not be the one) or maybe Joey (can't see Adel arguing if he takes the ball, would be funny though). Maybe there are others i guess that's something that they will be sorting out in training.

Joey had the most assists in the PL last year from set pieces, he has to take them without doubt.

Ive also hear whispers of Adel's non-attendance to training. As much of a legend he is for last years performances, no player can start skipping training. IF true, would like to think it is being dealt with and not accepted.

From what Neil has said, the only way he can deal with it is to make Adel play 90 minutes each week! Hence why he played against Rochdale and why he hasn't been subbed after 60 odd minutes in any game to date despite becoming an annonymous passenger each time.

adel should be off free kicks anyway, or they should determine zones for different players , we know faurlin good from certain angles buzz from others etc. like someone said should be sorted on training ground

On the basis Adel is crap at 99.9% (he is very good at other things though) of the free kicks and corners he takes, Joey Barton should have a go at them, but there are some on here who would want AT to still take them, even if we had Charlie Adam.
