If people could get past Mahon's lack of athleticism and actually looked at what he does (which taks a modicum of footballing knowledge, not just going to games) they'd realise he is an excellent player.

Agreed, what Mahon does he does excellently and is great leader on the pitch.

and also lets not forget Mahon manages to pull off at least 10 or 15 perfect forward rolls per game....worth going to games just for that athleticism and comedy value.
