What a bonus as I thought this did not go through in time

NW is known for getting the best from players and I'm sure he will perform really well for us

I'm hoping this is right and we do have him. Maybe the FA blocked the transfer due to timing, but granted the loan.....?

I'm looking forward to having a pacey attack on the counter, and also if chasing games, throw the likes of SWP, DJ, Punchean, Dyer etc against tired legs... leaving Barton and Derry to destroy anyone who tries to break against us.... gonna be exciting!

i'm curious... how come we didn't need to put the standard disclaimer on the ferdinand announcement? since this one has been going on from a while, was gp more involved in the puncheon deal than the others, possibly?

We sign him as a free agent, outside the window.
We buy a pencil sharpener from Southampton for 500k a few days later.

          Sorted.

Might lead to a points deduction, and ultimate relegation - but life's a risk.
          Sounds like a Gianni plan!

The information on qpr.co.uk is generally correct because it comes from the horses mouth so to speak.

I'm guessing that they put in a permanent request and a loan request. The permanent request was too late (requires more paper work) and the loan request was ok.

I don't know, I'm pretty sure I have seen it on other club's websites when announcing transfers though. Anyway, it's on the Saints website now too: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsD...438739,00.html

It shows on the official Premier League website that we have signed him.
