Sky get their info from from the Prem league .Originally posted by rangerforevereastcote View PostHow do sky know 450mill been spent??
All transfers (except frees) will have a fee assigned to them when the transfer is cleared through the Prem .....it is then up to the clubs involved to choose whether to 'disclose' the fee to the public or not !!

Put it this way he has to have cost at least £ 4 - £ 5 mYou should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

£5mill? IMO, the lads worth every penny. Figures flying around of £9mill when Arsenal wanted him, so to pick him up for £5mill seems a bargain.Originally posted by LoftusRoadLad View PostI think the silly money went on DannYou should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The details got changed as the night went on mate - was finally said to be £6M rising to £8M - which really is too much, even for a player of his quality. Why do the English players get so far overpriced - rare commodity I guess.Originally posted by MattyRangers View Post£5mill? IMO, the lads worth every penny. Oh ok fair enough bud, I was away with the fairies by 9pm so missed all that last minute action!Originally posted by Bluehoop View PostThe details got changed as the night went on mate - was finally said to be £6M rising to £8M - which really is too much, even for a player of his quality. Couldnt agree more with your comment about inflated prices for English talent. Prime examples are Carroll and Henderson. If either of these payers were Latvian they would have been bought for a combined £20mill, if that. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Those are 2 good examples and the one that really shocked me in the last window was Smalling who, yes, is going to be a damn good player - but £8M for someone who was playing non-league football 5 years ago!#standuptocancer
