Peter Crouch I the opposite of what a big tall striker should be. He is good with the ball at feet and has a good first touch but is very poor in the air for a big bloke. Against Man City he should of scored with a header but the ball went across the face of goal.

Crouch is better on the ground and preffers the ball played that way. It his team mates who play kick and rush as they see a big striker and play the default ball.

Not true. They've outgrown him, as such. We could bennefit from a player like him. It's that simple.

Not the best option out there, but he'd certainly help. Do you think they feel Bassong is awful? Players like this are just surplus to requirements. It happens at all clubs. Look at Man City...I wouldn't say no to half of their cast offs.
