Explain why not ? great hold up player that will bring in the supporting midfield players,with SWP and Adel crosses he would be a great target man,also great flick ons for DJ and SWP to use there pace behind the last man. If your reason is "we will become a long ball team", no way,spurs get down the flanks with Bale and Lennon.He would be a solid performer which will cause all sorts of problems for the visitors defence

Hi ya dude, mad days eh, I like Crouch and agree he would do well but I wouldn't lose any sleep if he didn't come, I think we need more pace through the middle, I don't know who we could get now, but I don't think Crouch is the answer, maybe Maynard?

i got to say mate im not sure if minority but a lot of people go on about maynard , the money their quoting fo rhim. is that not a bigger risk as again a championship striker with no pl league experience, he effectively no better then someone like graham?
i do think hes a great player but not sure if others seeing something ihavent that makes him a potential pl player??

I guess I'm not used to us having £10m to spend on 1 player, I like Crouch but don't think he's worth £10m , he's 30 now and has scored 12 goals in 73 matches for Spuds.
