Precisely this. People may say (if we lose) that it might only be one game but it's against Wigan, one of the teams we will be battling with in a mini league at the bottom. Well, if we get these players in before the window, we will be in the group above Norwich, Swansea, Wigan and co so it won't be quite so crucial

I've no idea if Derry can play there, but will go with your knowledge if you think he can....but this would only work if Barton is eligble to play, and we're not 100% certain on that, if he's not Derry would be needed in midfield!! Harriman isn't a bad shout, looked a useful player in the rochdale game, yes i know only rochdale...but still looked decent!!

Got to be Connors rb and Gabbidon lb, unfortunately that leaves Hall and Big Dan in the centre but this is their chance to stake a claim, its what its all about now playing for places

My worry is Gabidon at left back as Hammer said he was really poor there when he was at West Ham.
