    THis new fan friendly twitter approach

    I know we all wanted more info, and im NOT COMPLAINING (before the lemmings say I am);

    Do we think all these tweets from Bircham, Amit, TF, Ian Taylor, are kind of airing our laundry in public..

    Why does the whole Barton episode unfold on Twitter, i have never seen another transfer like it..

    maybe its the fernandes approach, i mean we hated our previous regime of not knowing anything. clearly TF and AB want to get fans onside and are doing these things.

    i only wish they wouldnt comment/reply regarding our targets.. need to keep that stuff private. - but doesnt help when barton himself is saying his piece
    Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
    Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

          As long as they dont reveal any sensitive info (which they dont), how is it like airing our laundry in public?

              I support Jeffro on this one.It´s embarrassing really.
              It´s too tabloid. Twitter smells ;me,me,me from A to Z as far as I´m concerned.

                Tony is obviously a big Twitter fan and has encouraged his staff to embrace it. It may work for Air Asia and Team Lotus but the question is does it work for a PL football club...

                  Great idea and is working incredibly well in terms of connecting club and fans. I for one like to know whats going on from the horse's mouth not some idiot on here who know's someone's gardener who once had a friend who once cleaned the windows at someones agents house.

                    The one thing im worried about is the potential harm, what if things don't keep going right or the board do something people don't like, there will all of a sudden be a lot of vocal keyboard warriors straight on the personal offensive on twitter which willthen likely lead to no more comminications and possible fan resentment, god imagine if tango had been on twitter! The abuse would be far worse than chants at a game!

                            If you don't appreciate it, don't read it..simple really.

                            I don't use Twitter / facebook or any social media but there are plenty who do, and i don't see the problem with the owners drip feeding info to a craving fan base who are mostly grateful for it.

                            If there was no communication, the majority would moan, as it is now, there is a minority moaning, and i'm sure they'll accept that.

                            Plus, give the guys some credit, they are not stupid and won't put anything on there that could create problems and wouldn't get involved in tit for tat online arguments if things go a bit wrong.
