Not tosh, just unconfirmed on unfinished. Transfers have to start somewhere. Its just nowadays we hear about them earlier along with every twist and turn. Only a few years ago we had to wait till it was in the Standard the following afternoon when it was done and dusted.

I would prefer that to these wildfire rumours that seem plausible for a while and build up everybodys hopes. Damn Twitter and Talksport!

SWP is the singing out of all the rumours i'm most excited about as we really need the pace and he'd fit our style brilliantly with quick counter attacking football. Unlike many wingers he also puts in a good shift and does the donkey work tracking back when required.

He would be a fantastic signing.:pleasantsuprise:

You never know, if this one gets wrapped up quickly or shows signs of progression, then it could just pursuade JB that it will be a good place to be as things are going to happen and the chairman means business and has massive ambition... complete contrast to the clown at his current club.

Very happy with where we are. I just think once the first one happens, we will see more. Maybe SWP and Barton are texting each saying 'if you sign, I will'.

At the moment there seems to be a gap on the field wide right BEGGING to be belted through.
