On the Barton business my pal just had a text from someone at QPR saying Barton will sign today, I said I couldn't see it as these things take time but as mentioned we don't have time on our side & TF seems like a quick mover.

If true, biggest signing weve made in recent years, and dont think id be exagerating if i said that getting him, Bothroyd and DJ Campbell for a combined total of £1.25mill is 1 of the best bits of business done in recent years?

Widely regarded as Newcastle's best player. Him on the right, Jenas in the middle, Tabs on the left behind Bothroyd with DJ to come off the bench, with Faurlin and Derry as midfield enforcers further back and I think that's very strong. Get a really decent defence in and that's already looking pretty mid-table.

It was unlikely Wenger would've gone for him anyway, although a free plug in for their team and just what they need, but i would imagine after the antics of the first game this season, there's absolutely no chance of him wanting him now....

Probably would do him some good, somebody needs to pull tarbs hea dout his own #### and make him realise that unless he starts performing in the PL then he will no longer be a wanted player, he will be known as a PL flop and great Championship player with a stinking attitude.

Think he's playing us personally. All over the papers 2moz what we have offered him and then Harry "melting face mufafukker" redknapp to pip us at 1 min to 6 on deadline day. Can't see thi happening and think it's a great stunt by his agent.
