Tbf mate he is alot better than what we've got and isnt a bad player at all.

I dont think we can realistically hope for any better. The lad is solid, got bundles of PL experience and a few England caps too. Wouldnt mind him coming tbh and anybody that is frowning at that sort of signing and hoping for better will have abit of a shock i think when they realise that Maicon and Dani Alves arent signing.
