it's an anomaly because of the two early kick-offs; nobody's trying to say that we're going to be anywhere near that as the season progresses! A table is a snapshot in time, just that; I will enjoy it for those brief few hours if it happens. It won't change my attitude to how difficult our struggle remains.

Fair enough, but fans and Chairman alike do pay creed to these tables, and start panicking far to early. I think having a table before 5 games is ludicrous.

Absolutely not, never get excited by a table before say ten games, have always been like that, you could easily say if Blackburn who are bottom,win, and we dont, they could over take as on goal difference.
