    Shaun Wright-Phillips

Obviously it's great to see us being linked with some genuine Premiership players but I really can't see this one coming off.

Cast your mind back to 2003 when SWP scored against us in the cup and his father was racially abused for celebrating the goal. Surely that has got have left him with a rather tainted opinion of the club and as such I would assume we are not top on the list of clubs he would want to play for!

Rather have Max Gradel, younger, hungrier and cheaper. Buy the up and coming not the old and satisfied.

He looked class in pre season and would be a class signing....I have doubts becauseof the incident in 2003...but what happens if neil talks to scott, joe and shaun and re unite them all at qpr....they might well be up for that....heres to hoping and being optimistic

U`re right about that. I might be wrong regarding SWP being satisfied, but his career has gone downhill the last couple of season. Worried he wouldn`t be so interested.

its a shame some numskull decided to abuse him in SAR stand, although Ian isnt exactly a model citizen in regards to racial abuse.
Football star Ian Wright is to be questioned by police over an allegation he racially abused an African traffic warden. The ex-Arsenal and England striker is accused of calling the black warden a 'monkey' and telling him to 'f*** off back to your own country'

                  Not in the same league.

SWP is international class, MG is good championship player.

Think SWP will be very hungry as has not played very much and will feel he has a lot to prove. Saw him in Pre-season and he was far and away Man City's best player.

Would be one of the best signings in our history if we got him and would become our best player by a long way in our current squad.

just got a good feeling about him coming, not sure if it is doable though.

I take it he was charged and found guilty of that then?

Bolton have been speaking to him for a while now, so I reckon he'll go there. He wouldn't even have to move house.

Coyle seems confident in bringing him there.

I reckon we should go for Moses instead as he's young, has potential and would fit in perfectly here.

I think the incident that happen with his father a while ago will come across his mind, but dont think that would be the reason not coming, as we didnt hide the incident or make up some kind of excuse, we appoligise banned him and then proecuted him too.

However if he want to build the club on a sound finanical platform, i dont think we will at this moment in time come anywhere near his wages
