          i thought players could play in friendlies, even if they did not have clearance? Maybe im wrong, but i remember going to watch Hampton and Richmond vs QPR away a few year back and we have at least 2 players who looked good on trial, but whoever was manager at the time said we wouldnt sign them as itd be difficult getting them clearances/permits
