Suppose we all got gobbled by aliens or woke up in bed with Margaret Beckett. We can all make up nightmare scenarios, but what is the point? Just wait and see. Its a big deal to tie up, just think how long it takes to buy a house for less than a hundredth of the value. Lets just be patient. If it was just Briatore and Ecclestone carrying on there would simply be an announcement on the website as once before. Clearly journalists are being briefed that there are new owners and this is to be announced tomorrow. As for players, lets just get the takeover signed, sealed and announced before we start wetting our pants about those.

We were told on the offy that there would be an announcement prior to the game on Saturday v Bolton re something:

Sorry but that is simply not true. Trace your way back to the days leading up to the Bolton game and read the threads about this alleged announcement - nowhere was it ever confirmed (on the official or on this site or on twitter or anywhere else) that there was to be an announcement prior to the game - FACT.
There is, I will grant you, plenty of speculation about an announcement and even more about what it would be about but never was there any statement to this effect.

Of course, if there was, you would have posted it up in support of your comment?

I am particularly touchy about this subject because so many of the doombusters were predicting that such an announcement would merely be a damp squib (not squid ) and I was just waiting for them to come on here on Monday to moan about there not being an announcement and tell us what an embarassment the Club were for leading us on with more BS

Good get rid of the mittals I say, they don't spend bugger all and there just like to say the right things but too much talk and not enough end product from them
