I know him very well because he's swiss, and i would say he's way better than Bradley Orr or Clint Hill. He's a right back. He's rather quick, and strong, not so old. But the problem is that he's...how do you say that politely...a nice guy, but not a nobel price contender. Do you know what i mean? He often gets carried away, and sometimes takes stupid cards for that. And he's had an horrible injury record in the last few years. But he is a player that would be useful and good for us. If fit.

Degen would certainly be a huge improvement on our current full backs!!!

Yes he surely would! And i think we could get him for less that £2millions.

It seems we're trawling through the top clubs for a loan or two.

I still reckon we'll have a left back from a big club before Saturday given Hill's suspension.

My money is on that Armand Traore from Arsenal because he's not playing and he's got a good level of Premiership experience. Plus he's quick!

Why are we always linked to players with a track record akin to the outpatients at any given hospital on a saturday night. ?

Yeah i'd like him at QPR. Good player
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

He was on loan at Juventus last season and was awful according to some of their fans I know

Please NO. Would rather have Hill. Hes so injury prone.
