    Puncheon ..Again

Get all the breaking QPR news. Headlines linking to the best sites from around the web. Updates 24/7/365. The #1 Queens Park Rangers news resource.

At least it looks like its only a loan and we're not doing a £ 1 m on him.

Was hoping for a bit better than Puncheon to be honest ...what with the supposed takeover and 'supporting the manager' warcry from TF

Thought NW would be aiming a tad higher than Puncheon

Is that what fernandes meant by giving the manager "whatever he wants"? not sure players of this quality are going to be enough now, tho of course will cheer him on if we do actually sign him.

I think one of the major things to come out of Saturday’s beating is that we need some players with good premiership experience and not players who might do well. We have enough of the latter already.

Sadly thats been the way with us for as long as I can remember (been supporting since '74 !!

We seem to go for players that no one else is in for !!

When was the last time that we signed someone of high quality who was being chased by someone else and we outbid another club or offered higher wages ???

Our (hopefully) new board has got to realise that only the best of food can be served at the top table from now on and yesterdays leftovers simply won't do !!

Exatly what I learn from the game last night. From now on we have go for premiership-players. Puncheon played for Blackpool last year so if this is a start for better things to come I give him the benefit of the doubt.

Whether he is good enough or not, where is he going to play. Our front three of Smith DJ and Bothroyd are not about to lose their place. What we need, in the system we play, is two good attacking fullbacks. Because we don't play with wingers it would give them ample room to attack down the flanks, just like Walker did for us, and look how effective that was last season. Because we play with two holding midfielders sometimes our attacking four don't have the support that's needed, with attacking wing-backs that will give us the numbers to break down defences, and give us more options when attacking.

You'd think if the directors wanted to make watching football at Loftus Rd a very expensive thing to do, they would at least try to get players that would tempt many to part with their hard-earned, in order to sell as many seats as possible.
It does look like being a long, hard, season at Loftus Rd.

Has he ever played in defence as a fullback? I just wonder?

I'm not so sure that He wont be able to take Smiths place as He's not blessed with the greatest turn of speed ,I noticed last season several times Smudger turned His man but lacked the turn of pace to get away from the player ,people have the view punch wont be up to Prem standard maybe not but are people totally convinced Smith is Prem standard

Think Neil is hoping to achieve that with Dyer (good news that its just bruising and not a bad injury) and with any luck get Bertrand in too.
