    So The Bottom Line Is...

You cannot compete in the Premiership on the cheap.

I'm gutted but also a part of me is glad that the fat orange mug saw that today for 2 reasons.

    1) You cannot go cheap & expect ANYTHING from this league

    2) Probably trying to sell to Fernandes who is probably secretly rubbing his hands with glee as the price for any buyer must come down as its clearly a project that is going to take significant finances.

Briatore getting slaughtered from our block in Ellerslie & I hope those in SAR gave him dogs abuse as he slithered towards the exit.

Also did my eyes deceive me or did I spot Amit & Saksena in their regular seats?

Unlucky R's, great first half but if you don't take your chances you get punished. Roll on Everton.

      Ironically, talking about bottom line.
The value of the club probably fell by 5 mill today, which is about the price of investing in a good premiership player.

Blackpool showed you can't do it on the cheap.

Stoke got promoted with zero debt but have now spent big to maintain their prem position.Must have a fair debt now.

Hull went up debt free and spent big,but on bad signings.Got relegated.

We spent bugger all.Relegation looking a certainty.

4 goal deficit after game one. Hill suspended, no left back cover, Dyer out for how long & Orr a disaster waiting to happen.

Great day & gonna take ££££'s to rectify. Something that should of been done 2 months ago.

Amit was there looking friendly with GP, but sat well away from Briatore. No Saksena.

                    Hmm interesting about Amit.

Some will say he's there to see his investment others like myself would say he's there because he actually loves the club.

He must be squirming watching that knowing what him & the Mittals could of done if in charge.

                      You don't say!

Its so obvious its painful, but dare to suggest that we've brought in average players on the cheap and you get slaughtered, just for being realistic!

Rodney Marsh was right of course. He did say you cant get promoted to the prem and not spend at least 10 mill if you want any realistic hope of surviving. He fears for us and I cant say I disagree. The village idiots are still missing.

Think you've missed the point numb nuts. We the fans KNOW the score its our owners I'm talking about. They saw what NW done on a very modest budget last season & expected the miracle man to do the same this time round. Not possible.
