  • Andy Gray on Talksport

At least I think its him,or is it Brazil? is saying that Everton's postponed match with Spurs is a blessing in disguise as Everton would then be kicking off their season at home to QPR and they will be more confident of a result.

Lets hope we're just as confident after beating Bolton on Saturday.

I think it could work in our favour too.

Everton always start badly. I suppose it could be different this year!

I think it will be to our advantage, we would of had one competitive Premier League game, up to speed. Everton wouldnt you can only get up to match standard by playing matches.

Great news. Definately to our advantage. Their preparation will be a bit of 5-a-side and a hastilly arranged friendly with Tranmere Rovers.

And to circumvent the swearing ban on here, may I just say that Andy Gray is a male chicken?

First thing I thought when I heard that they're game had been postponed would be that they'd be rusty and probably without a game for the best part of 2 weeks. Advantage us I'd say especially with a result at home to Bolton

Hate to sound a note of caution, but if we DONT get a result against Bolton( highly implausible I hear you say) then it makes the Everton game a very nervy one indeed chaps, wouldn't you agree?
