Policing for our game on Sat...........

I know a decision will be made today, but surely there won't be an ounce of trouble on Saturday. Rangers fans will be in good mood that we're back in the Prem and Bolton are bringing about 200 fans down. Plus we've got no history with them.

If we were playing Chelsea then I could understand it being called off.

    I hope it's on and we get 3 points:yush:
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

But it's not about history with Bolton or trouble with the fans.

It's about the Police potentially not having enough resources to be at the game if they are on alert for potential other problems.

Personally I think there is a strong chance the game will be off

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Ditto. If they cannot police the game, the safety certificate cannot be fulfilled and the game will be off.
Nothing to do with trouble, just necessary crowd control for a crowd of 15k plus to keep people safe and deal with the odd plum who drinks too much.
