Our first six games... How many points will we take?

From peoples predictions there will be lots of bubbles burst if we lose to Bolton.....

8 points reasonable target, considering not playing any of the big five. Need to pick up slightly higher than the average required to reach the 40 points required for survival from first six games.

We need circa 38 pts to stay up; that's an average of 1 per game. However on paper these six " look " handier than what follows; plus we need to do better in the first half of the season because statistically promoted teams who survive have had to do that....... therefore we need at least 9 pts from these six games, and possibly as many as 12!
I think we will get 9.
