Maybe NW trying to get the numbers down to allow him to get someone in, as all the ones on lucrative long contracts don't want to move. Maybe could have kept him and lent him out for a season.

Agreed with the above, thought he was a good, if not raw talent. Must have had something about him as he was with the first team squad last pre season. Good luck to him.
