so it seems we are raiding the relegated clubs for our players
west ham - dyer and gabbidon
blackpool - dj and puncheon

why are we not raiding birmingham?

also upson is still without a club, why are we not going for him too?

B'ham have some very good players but all out of our price range. I believe B'ham value Danns at around £10mill and plus Arsenal and Lpool both after him so no chance of us getting him.

Jerome went for £4mill which, IMO, id rather have DJ for £1.25.

Roger Johnson I really rate as a player, shame we werent ever in for him but, again, out of our (almost non-existant) budget as Wolves ahd to pay £7mill for him.

Would agree with Upson, although with Gabbidon now in i don't think another centre back will come in, he'll end up at WBA. We could do with a left back, i thought the club was looking at Cruise (arsenal) but he's gone to Bristol City.

Thought Danny Rose was a make shift full back and normal position is midfield. Don't think we will get away with square pegs in round holes in the PL

I think he's a left back, or wing back as is used now, just means a left back that likes to bomb forward, did i read somewhere that Warnock said we would not be using wing backs in the prem?
