forgetting about tommy smith? smith is a much much better player than puncheon and i cnt see warnock not playing smith.was one of best players last season in my opinion.

I do love the way that so many have written off Puncheon before he's kicked a ball for us. Smith is a very good, intelligent footballer, but Puncheon clearly has pace. The lad did well for Blackpool in the Prem, so it may be an idea (just an idea, mind) to give him a chance.

benny im not writing off puncheon at all, i personally dont rate him from wot iv seen in the past but ill always give a player a chance.just my opinion i think tommy smith is a better player and is really under rated by a lot of our fans and i think he is deceptively quick

Really? Why assume those who questioned Derry are in fact the same as those who question Puncheon? Any evidence? Derry came from a solid Championship and PL background and was never blown out by teams in the third tier. Maybe those who question Puncheon are the same who questioned Leon Clarke, but people can't use that example as it doesn't meet the required mind set.

Puncheon would be a great signing for Gillingham or Southend. Not a PL side.
