I really liked what I saw of Puncheon last season. Pacy vision, great finnisher..
Everyone seems to have their own opinion about him.
Haven't seen him at southampton, but made himself a name in the premiership and thats where we're playing next season.. not in leauge one.

You obviously haven't seen him play.Originally posted by Nodge70 View PostThis season's Leon Clarke.
I don't know why people keep putting the lad down? The southampton fans are bitter about it because he acted a prat with them, then he went to the Prem and actually played quite well and scored a few goals. He's defiantly no worse than Mackie and most of you lot think the sun shines out of his ####.

Exactly my thoughts.. what do people have against him?! if someone posted a video of him from last season people would probably change their opinions.Originally posted by Fordy View PostYou obviously haven't seen him play.

He has bags of pace and puts a great ball into the box.Although did a job when asked at S'oton he never really got a run in the team but when he did made things happen.I think the reason NW wants him is the fact that he is a cheap option and believes the lad has un tapped potential which he knows he can exploit.

Actually Fordy, most of those slating JP before he has signed are the same ones that did it to Jamie before he signed. And most of those very same people (the ones that said JM was a league 1 donkey at best) have moved their default positions now to "he's a championship plodder at best" - Puncheon may or may not be worth a go, we have to wait and see, unless we follow the theory that he must be shizzer because I read it on a message board
If he signs, watch him for yourselves, with an open mind and then respond to what you see?

boy has a fantastic work rate i agree..but imo we were a much better side with Routledge on the right than when Mackie was there...Originally posted by W12hoops View PostSince when did we start moaning at Mackie?
Quality record as a winger. We're much involved in the rest of the games, with his work rate.

I've seen him play for Wimbledon youth team, Lewes, Barnet and Southampton & Blackpool. In excess of 25 times in the flesh at a guess. Count the times he impressed me on one hand. He has however, impressed others. All about opinions. IMO we should be looking at better.Originally posted by Fordy View PostYou obviously haven't seen him play.I don't know why people keep putting the lad down? He is worse than Mackie. IMO. and I don't particularly rate Mackie but at least he has an excellent attitude and work ethic.Last edited by Guest; 04-08-2011, 01:24 PM.
