Who should provide competition for Clint?

Should we be targetting bosmans such as J Lloyd Samuel (or has he signed for WHU already), Thomas Cruise (young but recently released by Arsenal), David Carney (ex-Blackpool) or even Tommy Williams who is available? Ok, maybe not Tommy.

We do seem to have even temporary cover for almost every position but nothing for left back. I'm worried what might happen if long term we lost Hill. The window is only open to us until August 31st. There is no loan window this year as we aren't in the Championship.

Samuel is a good shout. How about van aanholt on loan from chelsea? He's a left back ain't he?

      Bertrand on loan?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Good player but I'd imagine Chelsea will keep hold of him this season for two reasons. Firstly he made a few appearances at the back end of last season and didn't look out of place (new manager might thinking differently of course) and secondly Chelsea will struggle to name 8 home grown players, which they have to in their squad of 25, if they let him go.
