    Paladini Gone?

It seems from what I've read on here that Paladini has gone?

If so, I think that's a pretty good move for us in that he was a liability with his role in the Faurlin saga last year. However, playing Devil's Advocate here, looking at the grand scheme of things I think he has done alot of positive for us. Look at where we were when he took over, languishing on the brink of admin and in danger of free fall (which we would have ended up as Plymouth are now!). He brought in Flav & Bern who, for all their negatives and non-existant fan consideration, have funded and taken us into the PL, a place that we could have only dream off pre-Paladini.

As they say, all is well that ends well, and lets hope that this might be a fresh start for us in which the MIttals can be abit more pro-active with a new majority share holder that isnt so "dictator" like in his role.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

kinda all falls down when you take into account that the reason he had to bring in fb etc is due to him being so incompetant and incapable of running the club that he took us back to the brink of extinction.

When GP came in, Holloway had just got us promoted and we were about to sell out 11 and a half ST's a damn sight quicker than we have sold out this summer.
We were potentially on the up thanks to that promotion.
GP undid that when he started interfering in transfers etc. -- look at some of the cr.ap he lumbered onto Ollie and subsequent managers.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I didnt defend the reaosns for him bringing them in. He brought money into the club. At the end of the day without him we would never have returned to the PL.

Please let this be true. Thanks for finding investors, Gianni. Now bugger off and mess up someone else's paperwork.

                          GP outta here or not?

On some other messageboards I've seen the view expressed that Fernandes is really just an associate of Ecclestone who will be able to dedicate the time to increase the value of Bernie's interest in the club. I hope not - because, for me, one outcome I'd like to see from any change in ownership would be the final booting out of Paladini. This point is mused on a bit in a little blog offerring here:
