    Jamie Mackie Palace Bound?

I know i mentioned this earlier back in the summer but again has just been posted on our fans site that we are close to a deal for him.

No idea what type of deal it may be just posting to see if anyone has heard anything here?

Also, has he recovered from his broken leg yet?

Nope he still only has one leg...........But even with the one leg he is miles better than anything you have at Palace which is why you want him.

No offence save but I think he's ambitious then your club. I respect palace ATM as they are running the club well but I don't think you will be atop half team. There's some v good sides in that league now. Much tougher then last year.

Interesting with the strikers we've purchased, plus who we're adding, PLUS, Warnock has mentioned Helguson a few times this summer (e.g. that he has a place in the squad)...well...we do/will kinda have a few to many strikers

              It could have legs .............

His is still injuired but i can see him going on loan once he is fit until Jan as he wouldnt get a squad number as he wouldnt be fit for the start of the season thats the only deal you will get as NW loves him.
One for all.... and all for one

Thanks for passing on what you've heard Palace Dave. Apologies some have not been as welcoming on here as they might.

                  Swap deal for Clyne?

It's just hearsay generated by the 'Palace Ultras' because they want to sing and dance to 'Hey Mackie you're so fine Hey Mackie"'

They have already coreographed their moves in anticipation.

                          Swap deal for Clyne?
I imagine if any deal is done it will be purely a loan.

Clyne at the moment seems to be settled and not spitting his dummy out and wanting a move so if we can keep him will be delighted. It;s fairly obvious though we will lose him at somepoint over the next year, unless we amazingly compete at the top end of the Championship but that is going to be very tough!

If it was to be a permanent deal which i highly doubt, my concern would be that it could well be Darren Ambrose who could be used in any possible player swap.

If i hear anymore will post.

A loan move would be a good move for him I suppose. Find it hard to believe though as his injury was a bad 1, surely a medical couldn't go through. Mackie ain't the best but he will give it his best, think he could be handy if he was fit in the prem.
