I think the only way we will sign Bullard is on lone for a year, because if he is a free agent or open to a move he will want more than a 1 year deal and his injury recored is a bad as Dyers / Gabbidons and looking at it we wont offer him anything more than a year (which is correct IMHO).

I think we do need another MF, especialy as one that has good vision and can pass as well as score the odd goal.
