I say give the no. 10 shirt to faurlin, rather than the captaincy.

The number 10 shirt imo is for a creative, flair player, game changer, etc etc. Faurlin is a holding midfielder (yes he can pass), and Bothroyd is a number 9 type of striker.

Taarabt should have it, for me.

Shirt numbers should mean f all. It doesn't make you play any better if you have a certain number shirt on your back. Giving Tarbs the number 10 shirt would not be a good idea IMO it would be disrespectful to Buz and cause friction. To do something very small could have a massive negative impact.

Very bad move IMHO, for exactly the reasons Ben states.

                  Agree with W12.

Give the no.10 to someone who deserves it.

I do agree he would be a good number 10 but he's already had a great season in 7 and could become a total QPR number 7 legend
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What so he can give it hack in January, ok on last seasons performance he earned it but maybe if he can prove himself for a couple of seasons in the prem (with us, which won't happen) then I'd say yes.

On another subject but also re Adel, I do hope they have someone else taking the free kicks this year, no disrespect on Adel but surely even he can see that is not his forte, just look at the stats.

Number does not matter as long as he does the job.
