No need for casual racism. Nothing to do with being Indian or Portuguese or anything else. Why would anybody pay £100m for QPR, twice what Blackburn, an established Prem League club, recently went for.

I can't understand some people - why should the Mittals pay over the odds for Qpr? If I could afford to buy Qpr I wouldn't pay 30 million more than worth and after my family Qpr are my life, I certainly wouldn't loan a business money that I had no control over, to be honest stanbowles - your comment is a rather stupid one!Comment

SK Ranger - the racism comment was directed at Stanley Bowles who suggested that the reason the Mittels aren't meeting Ecclestone's ludicrous valuation is because all Indians are tight. Or some such tired cliche, on a par with all Engishmen are repressed or Irish are stupid etc.Comment
