This would be the worst pre-season preparation if we were in the Championship, the fact that we are preparing for the Premier League makes it all the more ridiculous......

It is funny, but the writing was on the wall when Peter said thats if folks and every day people are now finally wiping the pixie dust from their eyes and can now see reality and they don't like it. Even people like Benny have gone from "I refuse to believe we will start the first game with the players we've got" to I'm hoping for a takeover.

I still think/hope NW will get enough of the players to finish 17th, but the big question is, did Naughton go to Norwich because Harry wanted him to go to a club who had a chance and not a circus as I'm sure we would have found the £250,000 to get him ?

Why are you sure we would find the 250k to get Naughton. I'm almost certain that we woudn't. Warno has said he has to rely on Bosmans and loans -and I'm sure he meant free loans.

Here's two positives.... firstly the taarabt deal is looking less likely so may still be in hoops in three weeks time and secondly Victor Meldew aka Kingy is based in the Middle east so very little chance of him sat anywhere near me moaning his #### of at the Bolton game!

Our 1.2m budget is firmly tied on DJ Campbell. While we are in limbo for him we will sign no-one else. The sooner he turns us down, which I'm sure he will, the better so we can try and get some other useless has-been or never been.
