As many of you know, my wife is Russian. I'm sitting here on my laptop, wife watching Russki tv, she turns to me and says - so QPR going all Chelski then..., news story running about potential Russian ownership of premier league newcomers queens park "of" rangers...???


This is what he posted on our Dubai facebook page last night whilst I was out!

I occasionally watch RT a Russian English language tv network.
Although I haven't seen this particular item featured, they do tend to repeat rumours and takeover possibilities in a variety of fields, not just sport. In that they are no different than broadcasting media just about everywhere. If there was a rumour about say Richard Branson taking over a Spanish club I dare say it might get a mention here. I don't think we should be getting too exercised about this one yet.......
