    Honest assessment for next season..

This is not a loaded question , despite threads this morning with benny etc.

Honest - what would you take right now?

As it stands with squad we have and no money being spent as confirmed by Neil Warnock, I would accept a gallant relegation fight like Blackpool and a win over Chelsea at home.
If we wenT down and beat Chelsea that with our current squad would be a successful season for me.

What would others take as it stands and looks like staying?

Jeffro, I won't argue with that. As long as they fight for every point, I'll be happy, regardless of the outcome. That's not to say I'd be pleased to see us relegated...just that I'd be proud.

I just don't think we're going to have this squad. One way or another, I have a good feeling something will come of this.

        Agree with Benny 100%.

If they fight for every point, you can't ask for more.

If we finish above the relegation zone that will be amazing. If we do get relegated as long as we don't get embarrassed and get a really bad points tally that would be alright.

If Warnock isn't our manager all season, and we bring in some foreign waister this club stand even less chance of staying up.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Swansea, Qpr, Norwich, Wigan in the bottom four

One of the three promoted sides will stay up, it will either be us or Norwich

Off topic but I fancy Blackburn to struggle bad, there owners are worse then ours

Back to the question, with our current squad (and if we sell Adel) I can see us getting a few tonkings. If we keep Adel, and have Bothroyd & DJ I think we will score a few, just need some defenders and we might be ok.

You sausage. I'd be proud of my team if they fight and care. I'd be p**sed if they roll over and die. Not a hard concept to grasp, really. Instead of picking up on everything I've said on these threads, try and concentrate on yourself. It's an unhealthy obsession you're gaining.
