Is it really advisable for Neil Warnock...

To spend his whole transfer budget on one player. DJ Campbell is good, but we need 3/4 players in.

How can we get 3/4 players in for £1.25mil ? I can't believe that is all he's got to spend, but that's what he said.

If only he had a time machine, and went back say thirty years, then I think that budget
would be just about ok for 3/4 decent players
      .

1.24 million on 3/4 players, that is LESS than what we spent in the 2007-8 season when we got in Legs, Vine, Ephraim etc.
It would only be £300k per player -- that would be struggling at Championship level and is woefully inadequate at Prem level.
The whole lot on DJ would make more sense -- at least you'd feel you were getting one player who might hack it.

Might as well go down all guns blazing. Strikers always cost more. Just have to hope and pray Warno can work his magic with freebies for the rest. The one area where the board seem slightly less strict on spending is wages. If he can get Naughton on a loan, Upson on a free etc I still don't think it will be enough without Tabs but it might at least keep it respectable.
